Hi, I'm Vikas!
I help AI B2B SaaS scale-ups improve activation, retention, and monetization through hands-on product design.
I work part-time (30hr/wk) with a small number of teams while leading GenAI product design at Adobe during the day.
Why founders hire me
Activation
I design for activation, not just features. I focus on first-run clarity, engagement loops, and repeat usage so new capabilities don’t stall after launch.
Adoption
I turn complex AI into products users actually adopt. I specialize in translating powerful, research-grade AI into clear, trustworthy workflows that help users reach value quickly without overwhelming them.
Revenue
I connect UX decisions to revenue outcomes. I’ve led redesigns of high-usage flows and premium experiences, aligning product design with retention, upgrades, and long-term value.
Deep collaboration
I operate like a true product partner. I work closely with founders, PMs, and engineers, move comfortably in ambiguity, and ship frameworks that scale beyond a single feature.
You can expect
Day 2
First design direction
You will receive an initial design update via Slack with a Figma link and Loom walkthrough. The goal is to confirm direction early, gather feedback, and build momentum fast.
What I expect from you
Pricing & subscriptions expectations
Subscription based engagement • $1000/mo
I work on a monthly subscription rather than fixed scope projects. This gives you flexibility as priorities shift without renegotiating scope every week.
Unlimited iterations, focused throughput
You can request unlimited iterations and refinements. Work moves through a clear backlog so we focus on the highest leverage problems at any given time.
One focus at a time
I typically work on one to two active initiatives at once to maintain quality and momentum. New requests are queued and picked up as work is delivered.
Progress over volume
The goal is steady, meaningful progress, not maximizing output. This keeps quality high and avoids shallow iteration.
Designed for real teams
This model works best when there is a clear decision maker, timely feedback, and trust in the process. When those are present, the subscription compounds quickly.
I have worked with
Watto AI • Y Combinator Summer 2023 (S23)
Focus on AI copilot UX, in-context chat, activation & product clarity.
Watto AI was acquired by Salesforce in May 2025. As part of this transition, the team officially joined Agentforce, a division within Salesforce focused on building autonomous AI agents for various enterprise tasks.
